Please be assured that we are still seeing patients for face-to-face appointments during lockdown.
As a healthcare provider, we have always adhered to high infection control standards. Based on government guidance our practice continues to adapt and intensify our protocols so our staff can care for our patients safely while the coronavirus remains a threat to everyone’s health.
Invisalign® is the invisible way to straighten teeth that are crowded, too far apart or have shifted since wearing braces. We have been providing Invisalign® in Richmond for over 15 years.
This ingenious corrective system for effective teeth straightening uses a series of custom-made, virtually undetectable aligners – no metal wires and brackets, no restricting discomfort, no Ugly Betty syndrome.
Invisalign® gives you every good reason to smile, especially as the aligners are removable, so eating, brushing and flossing is no problem at all.
The process is painless, convenient and trouble-free and the system has proven highly effective in practices worldwide, including Dr Jason Burns at The Whitehouse Dental Clinic, who is a registered Invisalign clinician.
Nothing is as important as a genuine and heartfelt smile. Whether in your professional life or when you are out socialising, an attractive smile can make you feel happier and more relaxed – as well as making the right impression!
If you’ve ever thought about how improving your smile could help you to feel more confident, Invisalign® might be for you.
With the Invisalign® technique you can have the smile you always wanted, without traditional, metal braces.
Your treatment will start with a consultation with one of our Invisalign® clinicians, who will examine you, talk to you about your personal goals for your smile and develop a computer model of your treatment. This will show where your teeth are at the start of the process and map out the journey to the prescribed position. Once you have reviewed the plan with one of our clinicians, we will arrange for a set of bespoke Invisalign® aligners to be made just for you.
You’ll wear each clear and comfortable aligner for two weeks, before moving on to the next in your series of aligners. As each is slightly different from the last, they will move your teeth gradually into the desired position. During treatment you will visit us periodically – usually every two months – so we can monitor your progress and provide you with your next set of aligners.
For the correction of minor tooth movement, The Whitehouse Dental Clinic also offers Invisalign® I7 and Invisalign® Lite. If you’d like to treat yourself to a healthier, more beautiful smile, book an appointment with us so we can discuss your needs and evaluate if Invisalign® is right for you.

Adults suffering from a range of orthodontic concerns may be suitable, as are people who wish to improve their smile for their wedding. Teenagers with orthodontic issues may be suitable for Invisalign® Teen.
Will people be able to see my Invisalign® aligners?
As Invisalign® clear braces are transparent, custom-fit and removable; hardly anyone will be able to notice you are wearing the aligners. It is also ok to remove them for special occasions, as long as this is not too regular or for a very long period of time.
How long does Invisalign® treatment take?
Every case is unique to the individual, so treatment lengths will vary. However, the average treatment is 10 to 18 months.
Can I eat and drink when wearing my Invisalign® aligners?
You can remove you Invisalign® aligners, so you can eat and drink whatever you like.
Is Invisalign® treatment painful?
Invisalign® clear braces have no metal or sharp edges like traditional wire braces and they do not cause allergies. At the beginning of each new stage of treatment a new aligner, which is slightly different, is inserted. At this point, some people may experience temporary, minor discomfort or the feeling of pressure for a few days. This is perfectly normal as it is a sign that the aligners are working properly and moving your teeth gradually into your desired position. This discomfort typically goes away after a couple of days.
